1963

New Beginnings

Dave Wittrock started Wood Interiors Company from his Father’s basement in 1963. One year later he hired his first full time employees, moved into a 6,000 sq. ft. facility, and began producing fine, hand crafted woodwork for residential homes. As the demand for quality woodwork increased, he moved his operation into a larger 10,000 sq. ft. facility, and incorporated as Wittrock Woodworking Co., Inc.

1972

Expanding the Company + Services

In 1972, Dave purchased the Portman Circular Stair Company which steered him into commercial architectural millwork, working with qualified architects, designers and contractors. WWC has allocated different properties and acquired many highly skilled employees to establish a much respected and renowned company. Currently, Wittrock Woodworking is headquartered in Blue Ash, Ohio facility with an excess of 110,000 sq. ft. facility, and has addressed a variety of commercial casework projects.

2016

Wittrock Healthcare

In December 2016, Wittrock Woodworking purchased Architectural Products division of Hill-Rom and moved the AP division into a dedicated 70,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Greensburg, Indiana. With over 50 years in medical headwall and healthcare construction experience, we partner with health care providers to provide a total room solution that will exceed patients and caregivers expectations.

In the transition from Hill-Rom AP to Wittrock Healthcare, it was important that all former teams including engineering, manufacturing, operations, technical support, sales and all intellectual property were moved just a few miles down the road from the original Hill-Rom AP manufacturing facility.
